I have always been an artist, it’s in the blood. I can recall ever
since I was a little making cardboard cities out of boxes and
tape and creating creatures and vehicles out of whatever was
available. My oldest son seems to be going down the same
road.I have a wide range of skills the go into my work. From
painting and drawing to woodworking sewing and welding. My
friends have described me as a 3d genius. I can take a pile of
junk and turn it into something creatively awesome. With a
knack for seeing the process and figuring out how to put thing
together I’ve been lucky to be able to help others in their
artistic endeavors. My education was in classic forms such as
drawing, painting in watercolor oil and acrylic, sculpture,
design and fabrication. Much of my current work is from found
objects. Bottles, packaging, old toys, misc, parts and pieces
discarded by others. I think its great to turn these unwanted
things into something wonderful. I spent a good amount of
time creating Halloween and horror props that gave me a
good understanding of molding and use of latex , foams and
paints. As well as some design of animated characters. I am a
maker of things and I don’t like to stay to one medium. I love
a challenge and something new.
